Morgan’s nephew arrived this morning!!! You must go read the story of his birth!!!
Today was a friend’s birthday. A very special friend’s birthday.
I talked to Ryan and he thought my gift idea was a good one, so I took Gabriel with me and we picked that up. While we were out we got some snow cones.
This evening I went digging through the closet for a gift bag. Everything I had was too big, so I figured I’d fool around and try to make one. I dug around some more and came up with some pretty tissue paper and a paper bag. Five minutes later I had this sitting on my counter. Ta Da! (one of Gabe’s favorite expressions)
It’s amazing what you can come up with for little to no money!

Brillante Weblog Award
Morgan awarded me with the Brillante Weblog Award a while back and I’m just now getting around to thanking her (Thanks, Morgan!!) and posting about it. Ah yes, and passing it on!
Here are the rules:
1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on your blog.
5. Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs.
So, I tag:
Danielle; because I love her straightforwardness and her silly humor. Girl, you make me smile!
Sarah V; because you are such a role model as a wife, mother, teach, and friend.
Jenny; because I never knew I could find such a sweet lady through a blog-swap! And, I love that she posts about everyday life, shares lots of pictures of her adorable children, and she does family movie reviews!
Bethany; girl, I love the way you write. You cause me to “see” your thoughts and you pull me into the story at hand. I’m always sad to reach the end of your posts!
Donna at On the Creek Cooking; Her recipes all look AMAZING and I can tell you from experience, her Italian Chicken Casarole is WONDERFUL!
D’Rae at Slices of Life; her daily pictures/posts of what she wears is quite inspiring, not to mention, unique!
And, last but deffinately not least!!!
Stephanie at Reviving Motherhood. This blog is much needed! I love the wisdom and encouragement found at RM!
